I am currently in US on visit VISA. My daughter is naturalized US citizen. We desire to petition for my AOS / GC under I-130 & I-485.
On evidence of relationship my daughter does not have her original birth certificate nor as parent do I have my marriage certificate. Wish to know if sworn affidavits prepared by my brother & sister and Notarized in India are acceptable? As additional evidences my daughter has her marriage certificate identifying me as parent and Copy of her old Indian Passport showing date & place of birth and names of Father & Mother. Are these enough to petition Relative?
For I-485 submission: Evidence of criminal history – all 18 questions under part 3 (processing info) answer is NO since I never faced any arrest / charges all my life. Do I still need any police verification?
In lieu of my birth certificate can my native Driving license / Voter ID attested by Indian Consulate in US be acceptable?
Shall be grateful for guidance & suggestions.
