I don't believe that's correct because
A fact sheet from USCIS says:
"A child who is currently under the age of 18 and has already met all of the above requirements will acquire citizenship automatically on February 27, 2001."
And the application says a person can apply at any point in...
-They were married at the time I was born.
-The custody was left to my mother, but by the time they divorced I had already met all of the conditions. My father naturalized in 1992 while they were still married and the 3 of us were living together until the divorce.
HERE IT GOES:
- date you became an LPR (month/year)- 4/18/1991
- date you started living with your parents in the US (if different from your LPR date)-4/18/1991
- date your parent(s) stopped living in the US, if either left before you turned 18-N/A
- are your parents still married? if not...

-Have at least one American citizen parent by birth or naturalization;-NATURALIZATION IN MY CASE...
