N400 Timeline for Maryland Residents

Does anyone know what's the application processing time for MD residents. I applied for citizenship back in July 2008 and got FP done in August 2008. I am travelling to India in Nov 2008 for 3 weeks. Do you think it will be a problem. Please advice. Thanks.
