I appreciate your responses. The USC has had a GC for 2 years now. The L1 holder has had the L1 for 1 yr now. L1 holder can stay on L1 for next 2 years and then go for an extension as well. What is the typical time line for receiving a GC once the application is filed by the spouce ?

Hi, I want to know what will be the steps and time lines for obtaining a GC if one gets married to a GC holder being in US with legal status on work permit. Thanks
