my hubby got a rfe and an interview!!! so not been "smooth" for us ... but its all over.... his 2nd fp i don't remember...its been long since his approval... more than a year.... thanks for all the good wishes. GL!

actually my rfe was inevitable.. i had not noticed but my stupid doc had actually marked the "not sufficient immunizations" box on that green form. it was in fact due to his own fault cos he didn't have tetanus shots availabe when i had had my medical done. so this time he just gave me a tetanus...

RFE Issue date : 18th june RFE mailed date : mmmm .... i think the lawyer mailed the response around a week later RFE Received by INS date : 9th july oops sorry.. i my first message i typed july in place of june... the issue date is 18th june. Good Luck!

yeah there is a rfe in my case. the 2nd fp was in jan'04 ..no update after that till june 18th. the online status changed to rfe on the 19th. i am still waiting to learn what the rfe is about though. will keep you posted about the happenings in my case. Good Luck.

hi, thanks for all your replies. what happens if i get my surname changed now & send those documents alongwith my rfe response? will that create any problems? actually i will be applyin to universities this year and i wanted my name changed before sending out the apps. thanks, fiona

hey everybody! i had my 2nd fp done in jan'04 (around 27th). till date there has been no update on that. i called fbi some time back and they said they had sent the fp results to INS. :confused: anybody knows what i shud do. my 485 was filed in may'02. thanks
