I already recieved my EAD card on Dec. 8th. I am surprized that you applied earlier than me and why did not u get ur card yet. Tell ur Interbational student office to send them a fax request saying that u have job. Thats how I got my card early. If they will send the fax to USCIS then hopefully...

Yes, Notice of approval and EAD card are same. In my status it also says that Notice of Approval sent. One more question, are you allowed to go outside the country on OPT? Are there any requirements to comply with? Please let me know.
