I am working for company A in USA on L1B(Individual) VISA and my petition/I-94 going to expire on 25-AUG-2006. My employer going to file for an extension and by FEB-2007 I will be maxing out(5 years) on L1. Hence they seem to file for H1 too, so that I would be on L1 extension from 25-aug-2006...
