    How do you know if INS has been notified about termination of your employment.

    I have been laid off for a couple of months and am on an H1B visa. I\'d like to know how I can find out if INS has been notified about this by my employers without asking my employers. what I mean is there an INS number I could call with my EAC # and find out what\'s up?
