I became a citizen today and I can't express how thankful I am. I was part of the oath ceremony at Central Islip Federal Court in Long Island, NY. Even though my husband and I were interviewed on the same day and I received my letter before him; guess what? He took his oath last week; It is all good. We waited, are you ready? Twenty one (21) years for this. I have heard many "no's " from the Immigration Judges, was fooled and taken advantage of by our 1st attorney, took our money and poof!!
I kept on believing for our citizenship and ...now we are proud to call ourselves AMERICANS. Keep on believing and praying...Have faith; In God we trust!!
