I have an approval notice from INS for my 2nd H1-B (extension of the 1st 3yr H1-B), but my lawyer did not file the petition on time for the 2nd one. I had 10 days of illegal status. One of my friend informed me that I will be eligible for US citizenship if I complete 6 years of H1-B status...
