The EAD is thru my spouse's I-485 application. So I can't apply for 7th Yr extension. Thats the problem. I take it that temporary EAD is not a possibility! Thanks much for the response.

6 year limit & EAD My 6 year H-1 limit runs out on Oct 20 and I just applied for EAD a week ago (sep 19). Is there a way to obtain a temporary EAD considering the circumstances? Otherwise I will have to give up employment until EAD is issued... Thanks...
