COS to L2 and EAD

Hi, I am currently on H1B and have applied for COS to L2. Can i apply for EAD simultaneously or should i wait for L2 approval. L2 approval takes about 2.5 months and EAD about 3 months. Is there any way to file both together? Thanks Neha
