Do I need to stamp my H1

I am currently on OPT (expiring Jan 10,2006). My company has already applied for my H1 effective Nov 01,2005. My H1 approval should come to me in 15 days. I am traveling to India in June. Can anyone tell me if I need to stamp my H1 visa when I go to India? Can I travel with my current situation?
