I dont know about any document that explains TATKAL passport\'s validity period. I know that passport got through tatkal process is valid for one yr because my friend(who is in India now and certainly trying to find out the facts related to the TATKAL process) told me so. -

Hi, One of my friends who is in India and going to marry has the following concern: Will there be any problem if his would be wife apply for H4 visa with a passport got through tatkal seva? (As his would be wife doesnt have a passport and she is going to use tatkal seva to get the passport)...
