I do have advance parole. But I didnot get my welcome letter or approval notice before I left..So can I get my cards after I reach US? moreover I didnot expect my cards to come, so I didnot give my mailbox access to anyone.

No I dont have GC stamp in my passport, As my GC was approved after I left US. So does it mean there is no way for me to get my cards for several months (during my stay in India) till i go back to US?

What I actually meant was I plan to return after few months, so by then card would be sent, so what way can I get the card? how do I apply for transportation letter? any idea?

Thanks..Actually noone would be able to access my mails, so can I ask INS directly to send me to Indian address?? is it possible? Save time for citizenships means what? normally after getting GC i need to wait 4 years before applying citizenship i think, am i right?
