I am a Canadian citizen, living in a border town, that recently graduated from an online university diploma program in the United States. This diploma included 1 year clinical work in the U.S.. I was commuting across the U.S. border daily on a student visa.
Now I am required to have 6 months training in my field in order to sit the board exams. I was informed that I must apply form OPT status, which I did. The US immigration denied my OPT application because I did not have a U.S. address on the application form. I had spoke to a lawyer, who informed me to leave it blank because I would be commuting back and forth daily, across the U.S. border.
Is there anyway I can rectify this problem.
