    L2 to H1 visa

    I am working here on L1 since Jan 2006.My husband filed for H1 in april 2006.He will come to US in August 2006 on L2 visa. 1.Can he start working on H1 from October? 2.Does he need to go for H1 stamping ?(he applied for H1 when he was in India--fresh H1). 3.Can he go to canada for stamping?

    L2 EAD ---6 months waiting period

    EAD query You can apply immediatly after coming to US for your EAD.my collegue has done the same.
