Thanks to divine help and my lawyer, mine was approved as well. Filed the I485 on 12/18/06 and got an approval on 2/7/07. My PERM took a while as it was filed back in June 2006 and approved in August 2006; but I am glad that things turned out properly. I am waiting on my actual card now...
