    Were you working on H4 as a resident with a work permit or on J2 with work permit later converted to H4. I got my H1 done at metamoros(mexico) no problems if your papers are in order.

    H4 stamping My wife got her J-2 stamped(similar to H4 ) without my J-1 being stamped on my passport in oct 2003. I went couple of months later and got my J-1 stamped. I guess it varies on on Consulate officers mood. I do not know the law. The best way would be to talk to a lawyer.It might cost...

    h-1 b appointment Mumbai help I am having the same problem. The system did not allow me to book a appointment for 3 days and when it did it said there are no appointments available. I am trying to find out from Mumbai. If I here anything will post. :rolleyes:
