Hello, Recently i had my COS applied from H4 to H1 ,which was approved with an approved H1 petition I797, which has a new I94 form attached . Now, my question is whether my I94 record (at POE when i came with H4), would it be updated with status as H1 ? or i should have both I94 together...

Hi Details of my Case ------------------- 1. H1 Approved in July 2006. 2. Attended H1 Visa Interview at Chennai - Dec 2006. Visa Refused and case send for Review to USCIS - Feb 2007. 3. Came to US on H4 visa. 4. Applied for Ammending H4 to H1 on Aug 2007, when H1 was still with USCIS...
