    Thank you for the reply. I plan on going on Monday to the embassy. Will post whatever happens.

    Overstay, whose passport has expired.

    I need the passport to get married (only picture ID that I have). If I approach the Indian Embassy, does it guarantee my deportation or will they give me a passport and give me a few days to leave the country ? Anyone familiar with a situation like this ?
