I got mine in about 4 weeks too. Arrived US with immigrant visa on Dec 28, 2011, and received GC by mail Jan 30th 2012. Appx 4 wks.

I wanted to, but, I had lost my PR and would take 3 months to replace it(now I have it). as well as my Passport was at the Consulate in Montreal (for 19 months awaiting security clearance) for the US immigrant visa. I guess I was not meant to be a Canadian, sad, but I gotta move on now. Thanks...
