To do FP you need an appointment, with no appointment you can't take your FP. You can walk in in order to do your FP before the date of the appointment, I did it almost a month before the date of the appointment and that helped to have my check name cleared before my interview.

I had the same situation, my FP appointment was for the 12/02/05 but I went to the ASC on 11/09/05 and they did it anyway, my intreview is on 12/21/05, that they will give them more than a month to have the results. Try to walk in and have you FP done. Good Luck!!

When you file I-765 and I-485 you got 2 FP notifications, one for each application, if the appointments are for different days just go to the first appointment with both Notifications, they'll do both the same time, don't worry is how this works.
