I have selected wrong service center while filling up EAD renewal online application. It was suppose to be Texas service center, but I selected Nebraska service center. I have applied it on 2/8/11 and the current EAD expires on 5/3/11. Last renewal took about 5 weeks but this time no response...

I think so. Thanks nkm-oct23. I think the same. Since she is a derivative, unemloyment benefits may not be a worry to her. But wanted to know if anyone has any negative impact because of claiming unemployment benefits.

And also remember that you will have 1 year after current H1B expration to get visa stamped in the passport provided you got H1B renewal copy handy. You don't need to get it stamped immediately unless you travel out of country after H1B expiration.
