    Thanks!!!!! I can see where this reference is made. Unfortunately I dont have a copy of my I129 that was filed then because I was outside the country. Is there any other way of knowing it? Do lawyers/company that files petitions normally have a copy with them? T kp

    Thanks for the reply. Which petition should I check I am confused. The one that was filed in 2004 and also what should I specifically be looking for on the petition. I am assuming when you say petition you mean the I797.

    I first applied for my h1b in feb 2001 came here in June 2001 worked here till oct 2003 and then left for a contract position to Uk while still with the same company. Then my company filed for an extension(renewal or new petition) on Jan 30 204 through another sister company. I got the approval...
