Immiportaluser,
Well I used hobbylobby store to get the blue color background poster board.
I took http://ociindia.nic.in/ociindia/ICAO-Photo.pdf as a reference for a
blue color background.
You can also try Michaels or a Teacher's store or a craft store.
Good luck.
Here is another alternative.
I clicked photographs on my digital camera with a light blue background (poster board from walamrt or other store )
& used the website http://www.epassportphoto.com for our photographs for editing/cropping
Took the saved jpeg image form the above site to CVS...
I got my Indian passport canceled along with my 10 year Indian visa.
The visa/cancelletion of Indian passport was obtained by personally visting Washington DC consulate .
There is no receipt as the passport clearly indicates it is canceled.
FYI.
I just received an acknowledgemnt from...
northenvirgini,
Couple of things .
Please make sure that you read the instructions on how to take photographs.
Photographs should measure 3.5cm x 3.5cm without border
Have a light color background (Not white) as per
http://www.indianembassy.org/newsite/oci.asp
Link for some sample...
