Holy Molly..I love people taking this much risk like RK09. I am sailing in the same boat with my I-140 pending since 2 years caught in a background check. My employer is supporting me to wait till the I-140 is approved. If you don't wanna stay here then take all these risks to keep the money...

Pending I-140 since 2 years All - I see many of them sailing in the same boat. Like the other member mentioned we have to do something about this. When ever I try to check they mention its in security check and sometimes they say Visa numbers are not available thats why the case is on hold...

My I-140 is pending since 2 years since feb 2007 All - My I 140 is pending in TSC since 2 years. I have a rd 02/27/07 with a LUD of 08/17/07. I tried all avenues of getting the application moved. Last update I received was in background check. Are anyone in similar situation??? Please help. :(

My application is still pending as of this hour. Its almost 1.5 yrs for next week. I called my lawyer and says he will place one more SR and wait. Gurus, :confused: My attorney filed my I-140 on 02/10/07 and have a receipt date from usics as application recevied on 02/27/07. I have a soft LUD on 08/12/07. Since then there is no activity on my case and still the status is "PENDING". I am calling my lawyer and he has no answers for me...

Perfectly true, the company from where the consultant works for should have their parent consulting company in that state. technically speaking your wife should get LCA from TXS and not NJ. But behind the scenes these consulting companies have their consultants all around USA.
