well..this time you need to hire a lawyer not because your wife case seem complicated but to solve the case for good...I mean if you need to submit a waiver or for future delay you attorney know who to contact ...with legal representation you find your case on good hand...just do it that way...

Well I don't know about that but I do believe that you will get fresh start upon deportation process without prior consideration ...perhaps you will be able to start your asylum case from scratch. however asylum road through immigration court became extremely painful..costly and endless...

yes you can reapply again within the asylum office...but you get to know that with your next denial+ visa overstay and you will be on deportation proceeding before immigration judge...

depend where you apply and yet citizenship process take 3 months in same states :Louisiana...
