joseph thank your for your valuable opinion. i do have a school certificate from india which states my place of birth to be calcutta and i have a brith certificate as well from calcutta. what would happen if i tell them now that my actual birthplace is india and not bangladesh as on my passport.

when i left india i was only 8 years old and never got back there. i look like more of bangladeshi than indian now. i can not get back to india to claim indian nationality since i do not have left anything back in india. my parents are no more. all of my life i lived in bangladesh i am 27 years...

joseph my parents were bengali spekaing christians from calcutta. they went to bangladesh for business and stayed there. If someone mention his birthplace to be india in bangladesh he wont get passport.
