Thanks for this. The work permit itself is a separate piece of paper, as opposed to a stamp in the passport. Do they check your passport at the oath ceremony? At this stage I will be in Canada for a total of 14 days prior to my oath ceremony.

I have a situation that I need guidence on. My oath ceremony has been scheduled but my company wants to relocate me to Canada for 2 years, with a move date prior to my oath ceremony. Will this create an issue at the oath ceremony itself? The move is temporary, I still own a home and investments...
