    resign and want to stay a bit longer than 10 days before going home

    My husband who is on H1 status wants to resign his job and leave USA. As told, he can only stay for 10 days after he resigns. But we want to stay a bit longer, say 1 month, before we leave USA. What shall he do? I am a green card holder and petitioned for his GC long time ago. Still waiting...
