My I-485 RD is 05/17/02, I see people even getting FP with RD 06/10/02 on rupnet. I am wondering why I haven\'t recieved FP notice yet. ANy one in similar situation would like to share their experince will be greately appreciated.

Followup Will the INS mail be forwarded if I gave the forwarding address ? Can my friend reschadule FP date on my behalf ? Can I do FP myself and reschadule it for my dependents since they will be out of country for two months ?

If you recieved FP notice and for some reason unable to do fingerprinting on the scheduled date, could you reschadule it ? What if I am travelling and I recieved FP notice during my absence and FP date is expired ? what happens ? can you go with expired notice and et finerprinted ?

If i recieved FP notice while I am out of country and FP notice date is past by the time I see the notice in mail what are the options ? Can it be rescheduled ? or Can you just walk up to the service centre (2 weeks after scheduled date) and get fingerprinted. Please tell me how it all works...

 you said you presented I797 at the POE and came back to US. Did you mean to say that was H1b approval notice ? Did you have valid h1 visa visa stamp in your passport ? Did you show AP and I797 ? Please clarify above.

Hello, I have valid H1 status till 2004( NO visa stamp), I just filled I-485 and planning on travelling using AP. After I return back, do I need to use EAD to work ? If I-485 is denied , would I still be able to work untill my H1 expires ?
