Does anyone know if I can go to the visa interview at the border before I start my work in the US? I'm Canadian and my work contract will start on Jan 1/2013 but I would like to make sure my application gets approved before I travel. Thank you

I'm Canadian and planing to go to work in Florida under the TN visa but the head office of the US company hiring me its located in NJ. Could I get denied the TN Visa because Im working remotely for the company? Thank you
