2 things. Firstly, with as basic as this infraction was, I would be shocked to think you would get deported over it. In fact, I have never seen or heard of anyone getting deported for accidentally registering to vote and not voting.
Secondly, I would be cautious using letters from these...
Well folks, my oath was "descheduled." Turns out there were too many people scheduled that day so I got the axe. It was rescheduled for April 20th (yesterday) at the INS office in Oklahoma City. I went, and everything went well, and as ridiculously weird as it feels to type this - nearly 14...
Well, I just received a notice saying my interview has been descheduled :( Not sure what that means... 2 weeks before my citizenship and it gets canceled. Not very happy right now :(
I just received one of these descheduled letters today for my oath ceremony that was scheduled over 100 miles away. In doing some research I found out there was an oath cermony in my home town today... Not sure what is going on...
I just received a letter today saying the Oath ceremony on Mar 25th has been canceled :( Did you receive this? I don't know if it has been canceled in general, or if it has just been canceled for me?

Stay strong my friend - and justice will prevail. I am sure you will do wonderful with your interview. I actually had 2 different petitions in, the abuse and good faith. The abuse one was handled first and was approved... thankfully. I wish you the best. Please let us know how it goes. Kindest...
I am at 5.5 weeks with no letter yet. I also thought my interviewer told me I would hear back within a couple of weeks. My best guess is that they are waiting to see if they have enough people to have the oath ceremony and are waiting on that before they send people their oath letters...
No, not yet. I think I was the first out of this bunch to have the interview in OKC and have not received anything. Been just over 5 weeks since I was approved. Will post when I do receive it though :)
I went through the same thing, and from reading on here I figured it was just the FP letter. Turned out I received the yellow letter requesting additional info. So, it doesn't always just mean the FP letter...
