Reply Sorry for the late response. Redragon ... I sent e-mail to the attorney asking if he got a copy of the AOS appointement - no reply. I guess my priority has dropped. The letter I got had a CC to the attorney. CamSreeni ... I had to give the original I-140.

AOS Interview and Notice redragon ... We did not have our attorney with us. We had to sign a form consenting to the interview without the attorney. In the notice, the attorney was CCed, but I did not ask the attorney if they got the notice as well. I will find out.

AOS Approved Hope all are well. Sorry for the long silence, I had put the AOS process and the associated delays at the back of my mind. On July 22nd my wife and I received letters for an interview on August 14th. We were at the BCIS office at 7:30am for the 8:30 interview. We were the first...

rdp_2001, I think the FP notice says it can be disregarded if you have been FPed 30/60 days back. Therefore, I would just send a letter to the address on the FP notice and tell that you are not appearing since FP was done in November. Also, send a copy of the form/receipt they gave from...

Interview : Transferred to HARTFORD, Connecticut

CamSreeni, Sorry for the delayed reply. I applied for my AP and EAD to VSC on 7/30. Both got transferred to Hartford on around 8/5. The EAD was approved on 10/30 and AP on 11/1. Unlike VSC, you have to go to Hartford to pick-up the EAD. The AP will be mailed to you. Ind761

EAD Great that you got the EAD. There is some hope for me. If they gave you a time and if the time is not 8am, I would not go early (just my thoughts, not an expert on these matters). Why aren't they sending it to you by post? Seems a waste of time - of course, the GC process is not known...

Interview : Transferred to HARTFORD, Connecticut

Trip to Hartford Sorry for the delay, I had uname-passwd issues. The trip to Hartford was quite informative. The IIO mentioned that 485 takes 8-10 months from the receive date at Hartford (!?!?!). Of course, my finger printing will be expired by that time, so they will ask me to go for FP...

Interview : Transferred to HARTFORD, Connecticut

EAD and AP transferred to Hartford as well! When they mentioned that my 485 case was transferred to Hartford, I did not think much about the EAD and AP extensions I applied for in early August. It seems that the 485, EAD and AP applications for my wife and I were ALL transferred to Hartford...

To Hartford RD: Aug 10, 2001 My case was transferred to Hartford according to the AVM on 8/1/2002. My lawyer wants me to go to the Hartford office in-person to get the status. I called (860-240-3050) the Hartford office yesterday; they say it will take 8-10 months for the interview. I...
