    Can I go to NY consulate and apply for my wife's renunciation certificate? Nervous because we have to travel to India July 9th. By then, need to get the renunciation and then the entry visa!

    validity of unexpired visa attached to an expired passport

    I will be traveling to India next month. In my expired US passport I have an Indian Entry Visa that is valid until 2015. Do I need to have it transfered to my current US passport or will they allow me to enter India with the old + new passport? Thanks in advance.
