    I got a response from Mr.Cruz. He has emailed me stating that my case is pending because of security check. So looks like whoever got "VISA UNAVAILABILITY" email wait for you PD to become current. Good luck.

    Name Check Cleared!!! Finally

    I checked with my congressman yesterday and got a message saying that "FBI NameChecks can take upto 3years". My 485 RD is oct 2004. So I guess I have to wait 2 more yrs. So Good luck to everyone.

    Perhaps I am approved...

    People say if you followup your case with FBI through Congress(wo)men,senators it might be cleared soon....but there is no guarantee..... You can also send mail to FBI director....... Sometimes somethings will take its own course...... But do your homework.....

    sammau, did you email CSC and ask about this or you are guessing/??? sbabunle, there are still people whosee name check hasn't beeen cleared from 02,03... so it is normal....but unlucky though....anyway with retro...one can console himself....

    i have an LUD as well as message change. Previously it used to be we have received your FP result on Nov 16 2004.... now is is Oct 01,2005....Only the date has changed.. in the msg....Does it mean anything as we wish???? Chances are remote....

    What I have noticed is when you send an email to USCIS regarding 485 you will see two consecutive days LUD. Similarly when you go for FP the same happens.....
