You can't sponsor yourself as self-employed Since your app. base on employment. you have to get a employer who can sponsor u for greencard and of course, this employer must be american. otherwise, all these employment based greencard will not make sense.

Same thing here I got the biometric notice code 2 last Aug for both my husband and me. Now I got it again and it's only for me. what's happening? Do they have troubles to keep our record in the database or they believe we gonna commit crime very often? Really hate that. And I have no idea...

Shall I give up I'm currently outside of the country. Just got this notice and schduled date is 4/11 only for me. Went there last Aug for my spouse and me. Haven't seen the notice yet, if it can't be rescheduled, shall i give it up?

why people keeps asking the same question over and over again. if your 140 is approved and your 485 is filed over 180 days, you can change your employer within the same job scope. good luck on your new job!

My lawyer just told me INS send the interview letter for my 485. My EB3 485 app is still in backlog. So what is this about? Anyone has the same experience? How long does it take to get GC after the interview?

Just got a call from my lawyer told me that INS send out the letter to schedule an interview in August but the LUD message hasn't changed at all. Who has the same experience and anybody knows how long does it take to get the gc after the interview? Or it's just a false alarm?

hopeofgc: i don't know. i didn't checked my online status last week cause i think it will not happen that fast. it's a miracle that they approved my case after 5 days received the rfe. i'm suprised. finally someone showed mercy on 2003 filers.

Thanks, guys. It took NSC 5 business to approve my case after they received my response for ref. don't care about 485 yet cause i'm from retrogression affected county. bmt, i will pray for you everyday and hope your 140 approval is on the way. :p

it usually takes about two week to give the decision for 140 after the ref is received. 485 is very hard to say and it all depends on the luck.

My dear friends: I'm very happy to share this good news with all of you. After endless waiting, it fianlly comes to an end. Just got e-mail from USCIS, 140 has been approved today. Thank you all for your encouragement. Best wish to all of you :) :) :)
