For everybody on the east coast who like me is checking their status every 5min, keep in mind that USCIS is on Central Time. Most likely you do not have to check at 7am eastern since they are just waking up there. I assume 9:00 am eastern would be a good time to start your 5min check... seeya...

Okay I'm new to this site and googled around a bit. What I would like to know is what they (the INS) actually do when they review your I-485 :confused: . I know one of them is a name check but what else... some info about me I submitted Perm 11-1-06 got approved 11-2-06 :p submitted...
