Marrying a green card holder and moving to US

I and my fiance who is a permanent resident plan to marry in India (our home country). Currently I have a B1/B2 visa which is valid till June 2011. I want to use this visa to enter US and then file for a family-based GC from there. Kindly let me know whether this will have any negative impact...
