    Refer to previous threat; "Now in US, will apply for AOS, but have to go to Norway in June" (can't make a link) My F-1 Visa is valid until Dec 2011; recently married a US citizen. I have to go to Norway to present my academic work in June. I have not filed for AOS yet; but ready to do it...

    Woww, this is getting scary. What about if I request for emergency advance parole without filing for AOS ? Is it possible to go out and come back with F1 visa ?
