gvGreenCard, Thanks for the PBEC contact numbers. My case is in DBEC. Anyways I keep on calling DBEC now and then but all that they say is its still closed and they don't know how much time will it take to open the case. It depends upon the workload and its handled by only one person.

how many days to reopen the closed case How much time does it takes nowadays to open a case once it is closed? Is there anyone in the forum whose case was close in June'07 by DBEC and his/her case was opened or is still closed?

I did write a letter to the Secretory on 7th August and still waiting for the miracle to happen. Hope my case gets certified soon.

My H1 expires in Nov'07 end and my online status is closed. My lawyer says can't do much and can only apply for H1ext once the status is changed to in-process or certified. At this point really don't know what to do.
