Werent your lawyers notified of the LC approval? I have moved and I am pretty sure PBEC has not been notifed of my my new address. I was under the impression that DOL does not communicate with primary beneficiaries directly. It is either through the lawyer or employers.

Relax, Thousands of 2001 are still left. There is no way for PBEC to follow FIFO. It is entirely luck of the draw. It all about your karma. As a kid I did not regularly brush my teeth before going to bed and had to frequently lie to my mum about it. As a result my credit score with God karma...

Have been hearing of transfers from PBEC to DBEC here and there. Not sure what to make of it and whether it will be good for 2001/2002 filers. Next two months will reveal the true colors of PBEC. Today is officially their last day of data entry.

There are few going back to jan 2001. Hang in there guys. Hope nobody else has to go though this humiliating experience.

There are hundreds (if not thousands) of 2001 filers still waiting. PBEC has been very bizarre since its inception. WHy aren't they following FIFO is anybody's guess. Tomorrow is their last day of data entry (at least that is what they are claiming). Does this mean they will start working on...

Oh my god, never thought of this problem. We are having our first one in next couple of weeks. Cannot travel to India now. We are planning to move back to India next year for good. Thought giving up US citizenship should be very easy.

They are going by the states thus far. If you notice almost all of the approvals are from Ca/MD/Virginia. That too from August 2002 onwards. JW was very lucky. Otherwise 95% of 2001 cases are still pending. As to why PBEC is avoiding 2001 cases GOK!
