My L1 was valid for a year and it was expiring the next month when i came in here. I was here in July-Aug 2005 also on the same Visa. It is not that my L1 in all was for a month. But then there is no worry, incase you are having such a situation you can apply for an extension in advance as i did.

Will Applying for a premium COS help me in getting L1 status changed to H1 without going to India?
