    H1B1----> F1 For converting H1 to F1, is that allowed to attend consulates in Canada / Mexico for stamping or should to back India? Thanx a lot for quick responses. Regards, Raju.

    H1B1- no W2----> New H1B1 Thank you. Got couple of questions 1) Current H1B1 is valid till 2007 Jan. 2) Will that be possible to get new H1B? (not transfer) 3) And go Canada / Mexico, for stamping for new H1B Idea is to avoid situation *out of status*. With regards, Raju.

    Hi All , One of my frd. came to US on H1B, and on bench since 11 months(no pay stubs so far, except one in Nov 2004). what I am suggesting him is go bak to India for good, and search job there, as it will be very tough for him to get green card and its illegal to stay in US with out any job...
