    question for COS of F-1 to J-1

    I'm a PhD candidate in USA, and plan to graduate in April. I accepted a post-doc position. Does anyone know how I can change status from F-1 to J-1? I assume I need to file I-539, is that right? What kind of material I need to prepare? Thank you for your help.
