Can anyone of you explain little bit more about affidavit of support? Will my husband be asked to submit an affidavit of support at some point in the future and he need not send in one! Thanks

My husband (USC) applied for his brother's GC in 2003. Things changed since then and the brothers are not in good terms. There was a letter recently from INS saying the petition is approved. Can my husband withdraw his sponsorship at this point? Thanks
