Yeah my possession was marijuana also. Were did you have to go to get 'official' documents on the dropped charges?
All I honestly have that states that the charges were not prosecuted is the letter the District Courts sent me saying the case was 'nolle prosequi.'
Oh because I'm in a similar situation. I was charged with possession with less than a gram and the charges were dropped and in the process on expungement. I was called for an interview before they approved my i485 because of that.

No I am not in Canada now or have been in the past 2 years because I did not want to risk any further problems so I stayed in the States while the process was happening. Which is why I was unable to return to Canada to finish school.
