I've alreadu returned back to India last year and have sent letter to TSC. Is this the procedure to cancel 485?

Folks- I waited for long time and last week finally last months sent a letter to TSC to cancel my and wife's pending I-485. Is this procedure correct?

Mine was applied in TSC on Mar 2008 and still no approval.

what do you mean by "i am working on my AOS"? Looks like your 485 is already pending isent it? if yes why are you filling 485 form again?

My question is still not answered. Can a B1 visa holder be billable at client site?

There is discussion in my company that on a B1 visa one cannot visit the customer site and bill them for work done. Is this true?

Its very grey area...I've posted comments purely based on my experience which allowed me to enter US on an AP which was mailed to me. I do not consider this as my luck, however I do believe that officers at POE are aware of law and would not have allowed my entry otherwise.

AP expiry date is mentioned on AP. I-94 just shows last date until you can stay in US.

I'm sorry but your comment dosent make sense. My last 4 AP's were approved when I was outside US and then mailed to me in India. I've used the same AP to enter US in past 3 yrs. Nobody @ POE asked questions.

No need to worry. You can still use valid AP or even H1B.

I've only one original AP document which was stamped during my last US visit. I believe the same one can be resued in my next visit. Please correct me.

I don't think keeping I-94 while departing US is mandatory. Last 3 times I've departed from Chicago O'Hare and I-94 was not kept by airline. I checked with US customs and they sounded cool about whole thing.
