i got a question for you, my cusin is in the united state since 1999 and he been here illigaly, does he qualify to file under section 245i or their is special requirment to do so..... from your expeerience do you think incase he won the DV a can h do AOS under section 245i.

Hi EternalHope,
I just stumbled upon this forum and noticed my dv 2012 case is similar to yours AS 39xxx. I would like to do AOS since I am in US with my family, but am open to CP. My question is..do you think it is a good idea to do AOS since my case is too high, and that since I can't even file I-485 until my case becomes current, most likely in Aug 2012?

Does USCIS expedite things in order to meet the tight deadline we will have after case becomes current?
